Summary : A group of seven low mounds was alleged from aerial photographs. Field investigation could not locate these features. An earthwork gulley of some 50 metres length wsa visible and was interpreted as a possible quarry.
More information : A group of seven low mounds is recorded in the Devon SMR at SS 68764255. (1)

No trace of the mounds described by 1 could be found in the vicinity of the NGR cited.

At SS 67784243 is an earthwork gulley some 7.5m wide and 1.2m deep. It is about 50m in length and is in two sections separated by a baulk. It is possibly a grassed over quarry. (2)
