Summary : Remains of World War II heavy anti aircraft battery, Madalene Hill, Hedon. Only the brick built gunstore and two huts remain.

Positioned on Madalane Hill, north east of the town of Hedon, this
anti aircraft battery provided part of the defence system for Hull
and the Humber ports. There is now a new council depot on the site and only the gunstore and two huts remain. These are of brick and wooden construction, the rest of the battery has been totally
destroyed. (1)
