24-SEP-1981: Located and identified in general depth 45m.
08-JUN-1987: Examined in 50 02 22N 05 43 36W, least echosounder depth 37.3m in depth 42.5m, scour depth 43.5m, height 6.5m, length 85m. Lying E/W, largely intact with highest point amidships. (1)
17-NOV-1998: Dived in 500221N, 054337W [OGB] using GPS. Located using magnetometer. Largely intact with forward part lying on starboard side. The mid region is twisted and opened up showing the boilers etc. Aft of this the wreck lies on a generally even keel. The boilers are the highest point. Much salvage work appears to have been carried out as little ferrous material remains. No sign of any cargo. Poisition 5002.402N, 0543.658W (WGD). (2)(3)
