'By telegram from London: The Russian vessel ANNA PRECHT with iron, has been lost near Yarmouth. Two of the crew drowned, six were saved.
'ANNA PRECHT belonged to Foglo in Aland. The vessel was barque-rigged, 397.74 tons net, built in Germany 1875, and 37.50m long by 8.64 wide x 5.28m draught. Her chief owner was M A Holmstrom.
'The ANNA PRECHT, captained by K E Jansson, was en route from Borga [the old name for Porvoo] for Yarmouth, and had arrived at Copenhagen on the 28th August last.' (5)
