Summary : Tower house, probably built in the mid or late 15th century, with an attached, 16th century, wing now a separate dwelling. The house was altered in 1663, 1880 and 1904. Square, three storey tower with a two storey extension to the rear and a lower two storey wing adjoining. The tower is thin walled and may be 19th century, but the present owner reports finding foundations of a second tower in the cellar.

Lorton Hall. Three-storeyed 14th century pele tower with additions of the 16th century, 1663 and 1880. Grade I. (2)

Lorton Hall and Winder House. Tower house, probably built in the mid or late 15th century, with an attached, 16th century wing, now a separate dwelling. The house was altered in 1663, 1880 and 1904. Square, three storey tower with a two storey extension to the rear and a lower two storey wing adjoining. Listed Grade II. (3)

Possible remains of second tower reported in a cellar. (4)
