Isel Hall has a pele-tower built c.1425, the main hall etc. being early 16th c. and 17th c. (2)
On the east side of the tower are traces of a moat, several yards from the tower walls. (3)
Correctly described and in good condition. See GP AO 66/40/8 for NW aspect. Remains of moat resurveyed at 1:2500. (4)
Isel Hall consists of a 14th century pele tower to which the main hall was added later. The main range entirely of stone, including the roof, is of three storeys. The entrance gate-posts, bearing an unusual crest, are of some interest. (5)
Tower house of the late 14th/early 15th century, with an attached hall wing of the late 15th century. Extended in the 16th and 17th centuries and altered in the 19th century. Three storey tower with two storey hall range adjoining the north angle.Traces of a moat are visible to the east of the tower. Listed Grade I. (6)
