More information : [NY 19224151] Harbybrow [NAT] Tower [NR] (1) The tower of Harbybrow, was build by Alexander Highmoor in 1465, the house being added in 1550, as shown by an inscribed stone of that date, within the entrance. (2) Only the tower is of interest..See GO's AO/67/10/4,5. Everything else is of 19th c. construction; the house is unoccupied and no date stone was seen. (3) NY 192415. Harbybrow Pele Tower, scheduled. (4) Harby Brow tower house, farmhouse and adjoining barn. The tower house is 15th century; the farmhouse is early 19th century, it replaced an early 16th century hall range. Grade 1. (5) Listed with a plan of the house. (6)
