Summary : Conjectural site of a Roman milefortlet derived from measurements from other monuments, part of the Roman frontier defence. No visible remains.
More information : Estimated position of Roman milefortlet 11 is NY 1116 5388 (1a). Not located so far. (1)

The ground lies between Liddle St and Petteril St in 2m deep hollow area that apparently in the past has been much deeper; its purpose is unknown (Inf Headmaster, Silloth School). There is no ground evidence for this having been the site of milefortlet 11. (2)
