found in 1855 near the south-west gate of Hardknot fort. Now

There is nothing to indicate whether Julius Agricola, Calpurnius
Agricola, or someone else is named R. G. C.

794. Fragment from the left margin of a red sandstone inscription,
heavily burnt, with measurements unrecorded, found in 1947 near
the porta praetoria of Hardknot fort. Now lost. Traced from
sketch by the late Miss Fair.
