Summary : 31-46 Queen Mary's Drive. A terrace of 15 houses set within open plan gardens bounding the western side of The Diamond in Port Sunlight. The houses were designed by James Lomax Simpson for William Hesketh Lever and built in 1913. The houses have two storeys, jettied first floors and are similar in composition to those on King George's Drive. Construction is of brick and weather board with timber framed returns, roughcast wings and stone slate roofs. The three middle houses are gabled. The wings project out towards the road. |
