Summary
An earthwork consisting of a slight bank with traces of an outer ditch, enclosing around 9 acres. In 1952 the earthworks were described as a very slight bank with occasional traces of an external ditch, and largely destroyed on the south.
Protected Status
- SHINE: Enclosure on Castle Hill comprising a single bank and ditch of probable late prehistoric date.
