In 1925, LCG Clarke published 2 collared urns 'from Harstone… which were dug up separately some little time back… by workmen digging for ironstone'. Others were said to have been found, but could not be traced. They are in the University Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology, Cambridge.

In 1927 a beaker was donated to the Ashmolean by a Miss Marsh of Beeston. It had been collected from ironstone workings at Harston by her late uncle (the provenance is not 100% certain but very likely). It was a rusticated beaker. This may be one of the other pots referred to in the 1926 publication.
