Full description

SE94531713 The cropmark of a possible rectilinear enclosure, defined by a single ditch on three sides. The dimensions are c. 70m x 60m; date uncertain. Source : NMR SE 9417/47 (17140/26) 24-JUL-1998 [1, 2]

The enclosure was visible on Google Maps aerial photographic cover, accessed June 2011. 3-sided, an eastern ditch not visible. There were indications from other ditches to the west on a similar alignment that this enclosure may be part of a wider field system.

A solid rectangular cropmark lay immediately to the north, measuring c. 20m x 16m. It may be unrelated, and more recent. [3]
