Full description

A cast iron milepost of V-shaped section with a raised back plate. The angled triangular front panel reads Horninglow Parish. The signage of the left hand side reads Tutbury (3 1/2 miles). The signage of the right hand side reads Burton (1 mile). The signage of the backplate reads London 126 miles. This milepost was manufactured by Thornewill Burton. (LF, 11-April-2007) <1>
