A flat, rectangular cast iron mileplate mounted onto a stone wall. The Signage reads London (124 miles), Ashby (8 miles), Burton (1 mile). (LF, 4-May-2007) <1>

The list description records this mile plate as located on Burton Bridge, Burton-upon-Trent, however it is actually situated on the north side of Ashby Road in the parish of Winshill (about 850 metres to the east of Burton Bridge). (SB, 26-Jun-2014) <2>
