Summary : Queensbury opened on 6th December 1934 as an intermediate station on the Metropolitan Railway's four mile branch from Wembley Park to Stanmore. In 1939 it became part of the Bakerloo line when the London Passenger Transport Board opened a new section of twin tube tunnels between Baker Street and Finchley Road. On the 1st May 1979 Queensbury became an intermediate station on the new Jubilee line when the Jubilee took over the Bakerloo line brach between Baker Street and Stanmore as part of its new line to Charing Cross.
