Summary : A probable Second World War Emergency Water Supply tank, situated near the east gate of the Chattenden Magazine enclosure (Monument 1481790) and north of a barrack block (Monument 1547809). The rectangular tank, possibly accompanied by one or more small earth covered air raid shelters, is located in an area of intense military activity. The features have been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
