Summary : The arches of the vaulting of the undercroft are all that remains of the Prior's Lodgings.

The line of the arches to the vaulting of the undercroft to the
lodging is visible in the wall of the south aisle of the church,
(TA 16 NE 11). This comprises the remains of an arcade of six bays
approximately 4.0m high and 3.7m for each bay. Adjacent are the
bases of four columns. A large buttress at the eastern end of the
arcade houses the Prior's private staircase. Higher in the wall of
the aisle the outline of a fireplace is discernable. (a)
