Summary : Linear features of unknown date visible as cropmarks.
More information : Ditch defined linears features of unknown date were visible as cropmarks on air photographs and have been mapped at 1:2500 scale. These features are centred at SK 9694 8677. The background geology and modern drains underlying this area show well as cropmarks and cause confusion with the possibly genuinely archaeological cropmarks making their interpretation difficult. These feature could be associated with the Iron Age or Roman settlement in the immediate vicinity (SK 98 NE 7). (1)
