Location :
Devon

Summary : A small mound visible on aerial photographs has been interpreted as a probable Bronze Age cairn. Situated in a prominent position on Hoccombe Hill, Brendon, the cairn overlooks Hoccombe Water and lies in an area of dense prehistoric activity. However, it is also situated within the Exmoor Firing range and numerous craters relating to the Second World War training area can be seen nearby. It seems likely that the feature will have sustained some damage.
